Bans for carnival violence
People convicted of violence at the Notting Hill carnival will be banned from the event, police have said.
Senior officers said they will press for Asbos preventing troublemakers from returning to the bank holiday festival.
The move is just one part of a massive £6m operation aimed at safeguarding more than 750,000 people expected to visit west London.
