£250,000 NHS food revamp bid

A major overhaul of catering at a Whitehaven hospital could see £250,000 invested in the services.

Bosses at West Cumberland Hospital have promised a significant investment after a survey of patients' opinions on food.

The new system, which includes a coffee shop already open and complete overhaul or the Cumberland Gap restaurant, is expected to save money when finished.
