Man killed as truck hit tree
A passenger died after the truck he was in struck tree in Lanarkshire, police have said.
The 59-year-old man was in an Iveco tipper truck which left the road and hit the tree near Biggar.
The driver, 21, was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital where he was in a serious but stable condition. Police have appealed for witnesses.
