Sue Bradburne and her son Mark teamed up with the game Seek The Truth (7/1) to land the 2m5f handicap chase.
Having been headed at the fifth after leading in the early stages, he struck the front again two out before holding off a determined Mr Twins by 1¼l, with Mistral De La Cour 18l away in third.
Mrs Bradburne said: "It was not a very good race and he stuck to his guns really well."
