Hamilton forced to check
Officials at Hamilton have called a second inspection for 7am to determine the prospects for today's meeting.
Wednesday's card at the Scottish venue had to be abandoned, but clerk of the course Hazel Peplinski reports conditions to have improved.
She said: "We are due five to seven millimetres of rain so we are going to have another look. It has improved so much since Wednesday."
Redcar under threat
Officials at Redcar have been forced to announce an 8.30am inspection today ahead of their meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening.
The track is currently unraceable and, with more rain forecast, acting clerk of the course John Sanderson thought it prudent to take a look.
He said: "There hasn't been any rain on the track for around 15 hours but we couldn't race at the moment."
Newcastle look
Monday's meeting at Newcastle is subject to the track passing an 8am inspection tomorrow.
Officials have already abandoned tonight's card and although conditions are steadily improving, clerk of the course James Armstrong admits the track needs a couple of dry days.
He said: "We will have a look on Saturday morning. Things are improving but very, very gradually."
