Approach gets go-ahead
Jim Bolger has given New Approach the go-ahead for tomorrow's rearranged Juddmonte International at Newmarket.
It looked as though a clash between the Derby winner and Duke Of Marmalade would not happen when York was called off but the clash could now be back on.
Bolger said: "New Approach is definitely going to run at Newmarket. Hopefully it will be nice, good ground as that will suit him well."
Tower in top trim
Coral-Eclipse runner-up Phoenix Tower is on target for the rearranged International Stakes at Newmarket and is reportedly in the form of his life.
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said: "I spoke to Henry (Cecil) and he is very pleased with the horse.
"He has trained very well in the run-up to the race. It's hard to say he's not a Group 1 contender as he really is."
