Voy Por Ustedes will take a step back in trip on Saturday when he lines up in the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury.

Alan King sent the 9yo for the Lexus Chase over 3m at Leopardstown but he failed see out the distance in sixth.

King said: "He didn't stay in the Lexus. Depending on how he gets on at Newbury, it will be either the Queen Mother or the Ryanair. The horse is in very good form."

Petit plans unaltered

Nicky Henderson hasn't been tempted to put Petit Robin in the Game Spirit, despite a possible small field.

He said: "Petit Robin is in good order but he's a very good horse when he's fresh. I've backed off him to freshen him up for Cheltenham but he is not prepared in any way to go to Newbury.

"He's so good fresh anyway that when I saw it was going to be reopened it barely crossed my mind."

Bajan tops Trophy list

Andy Turnell's Blue Bajan heads the 28 confirmations for Saturday's totesport Gold Trophy at Newbury.

David Pipe holds a strong hand with Mutual Friend, Mamlook and ante-post gamble Ronaldo des Mottes.

Nicky Henderson could be represented by Spirit River and Stravinsky Dance, while race specialist Gary Moore has left in three - Harry Tricker, Numide and First Avenue.
