Super Sub fighting fit
Trainer Robbie Hennessy is eyeing the "Fighting Fifth" Hurdle at Newcastle as the likely return date for Sublimity.
The 8yo, formerly trained by John Carr, has only run three times since taking the 2007 Champion Hurdle, but was far from disgraced when fourth this year.
Hennessy said: "We're hoping to give him a racecourse gallop and then the plan is the "Fighting Fifth", although he wouldn't want the ground too soft."
Busy schedule
Sublimity should be a more frequent visitor to the racecourse during his first campaign with Robbie Hennessy.
The fledgling handler said: "He's a lot more forward this year than last year and we're well ahead of schedule.
"If all goes well at Newcastle, he'll go to Kempton for the Christmas Hurdle. All being well he will run in the AIG Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown, then back to Cheltenham for the Champion."
