Bolger hopes for luck
Jim Bolger is hoping Lush Lashes can put her luckless run in the Nassau Stakes behind her when she lines up in the rearranged Yorkshire Oaks.
The daughter of Galileo was denied a run at a crucial stage at Goodwood and will be out for atonement at Newmarket.
Bolger said: "The ground should be much better for her at Newmarket than it would have been at York so it has worked out well for her."
Gosden double-handed
John Gosden is hoping his two contenders can give a good account of themselves in the rearranged Darley Yorkshire Oaks at Newmarket.
The trainer is represented by Dar Re Mi, an impressive winner at Deauville last week, as well as Ribblesdale Stakes heroine Michita.
Gosden said: "Michita has been in good form since Royal Ascot and the ground should be ideal for her at Newmarket."
Tough task for Dar
John Gosden is under no illusion as to the task Dar Re Mi faces in the Yorkshire Oaks at Newmarket.
The trainer said: "Dar Re Mi handles most ground and would have been fine at York as she won on soft at Deauville.
"She has come out of the race in good shape but I think Passage Of Time and Lush Lushes set the standard. However, it is only a six-horse field so you want to have a look at it don't you?"
Time team pleased
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, is hopeful the Henry Cecil-trained Passage Of Time can run a big race in the Yorkshire Oaks.
He said: "I have spoken to Henry and he is very happy with how Passage has been since Goodwood.
"He has done a great job with her as she took a long time to come to herself this year. She gets 1m4f well so everything looks to be in her favour."
