Oxx looks to Kat future
Katiyra is expected to stay in training next season after ending her 3yo campaign by finishing third in the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp.
Trainer John Oxx would like to map out a programme at around 1m2f for the Aga Khan's filly, who is already a Group 2 winner at that distance.
The handler said: "The plan is for her to stay in training. We'll discuss it with His Highness (the Aga Khan)."
Oxx puts Stars away
John Oxx has revealed his smart 2yo colt Sea The Stars will now be put away for the winter following his Group 2 success over 1m at the Curragh.
The Currabeg-based handler said: "He's had enough for the season and he's an interesting prospect for next year.
"We don't know how far he'll stay. He should go a mile to a mile and a quarter and he may get further. He'll probably start at a mile."
