Leg Spinner heads the weights for Saturday's Cesarewitch as he bids to follow up last year's Newmarket win.
Martin also has Northumberland Plate hero Arc Bleu, Top The Charts and Stage Manager engaged at this stage but he is only likely to run three of the four.
The trainer told At The Races: "Leg Spinner did a piece of work that I was very happy with so as long as the ground doesn't go heavy, he'll run."
Leg faces weighty issue
Tony Martin is expecting Leg Spinner to face a tough task off top weight in Saturday's Cesarewitch at Newmarket.
The trainer said: "He's a horse who has had a lot of niggly problems but he is tough and hardy and he has never hit the heights over hurdles that we thought he would.
"The handicapper is probably catching him up with him a bit on the Flat but we'll keep plugging away with him."
Martin's strong hand
Tony Martin is expecting to have a strong team in the Cesarewitch on Saturday, with last year's winner Leg Spinner likely to head his runners.
Martin said: "I would say we will run two or three in the Cesarewitch with Arc Bleu probably coming over.
"Top The Charts finished second at Royal Ascot a couple of years ago and wouldn't mind a bit of ease in the ground - I'm keen enough to run him."
