Cale plans Nico tribute
John Cale is organising a tribute to his former Velvet Underground bandmate Nico. Life Along The Border is at London Royal Festival Hall on October 11, on what would have been Nico's 70th birthday. A line-up is announced soon, with tickets on sale on August 29.
Weezer guitarist Brian Bell has formed a new side-project band, The Relationship. One song, Are You Gonna Be, is at myspace.com/therelationship, with an album promised for next year.
