In a way, it's not hard to see why they aren't championed more: these are old-fashioned, outright great pop songs.
There's nothing "just" about such well-crafted songs, though. Like fellow Canadians New Pornographers, they lodge in the brain instantly and sit there happily humming at you. Bliss. 8/10
