Following work with Manitoba and Four Tet, Canadian folktronica artist Koushik Ghosh steps up a gear.
As playful as Treva Whateva, as soothing as Adem and as gently insistent as RJD2, its laidback charm relies as much on strong tunes as it does on the sweet atmosphere.
Like hip hop filtered from the age of wind-up gramophones, it's so old-school it's wonderfully antediluvian. 8/10
