Paul Weller/iTunes Live Festival at London Koko

Starting with fired-up versions of Peacock Suit and Floorboards Up, Weller isn't complacent despite the relatively small venue and contest-winners' mood.

Several songs from 22 Dreams are aired, but it doesn't matter - the "Carry me home" coda to Sea Spray is a fist-punching delight, while the title track adds '50s rock'n'roll to his own strut.

Only an overlong Invisible at the piano is "Gawd, not a new song" fare.

Wild Wood's echoing, Danger Mouse drums are a superb addition, and Something To Me is a sweet end to the slower songs.

But it's the incredible end to the main set where Weller stomps over anyone who still sees him as past it.

From The Changingman to Eton Rifles via Come On Let's Go, you can almost see the years dropping off, with the bile of a teen and guile of experience. Surprisingly superb. 8/10

Leave Muse titles alone
Muse are getting knocked because of their song titles? They're nothing compared to the tiresome Arctic Monkeys - Fake Tales Of San Francisco, Teddy Picker or Fluorescent Adolescent, anyone? Or the irrelevant Manic Street Preachers. I struggle to recall the name of their last single. Jackie Collins Enjoys Watching Question Time With A Mug Of Horlicks, or something.
