Emiliana Torrini/Bristol Trinity Review by Ollie Holtam
Two additional band members are added to cope with the more in-depth and bigger sound of Torrini's new album, aired here for the first time. It helps that the sound quality is near-perfect.
Upbeat pop songs like Jungle Drum - which she can easily afford to throw in mid-set - are a marvel.
But it's the strength and profondity of Gun and Birds that show how far Torrini has come musically and lyrically. 8/10
