CRB staff work-to-rule
Staff at the Criminal Records Bureau are starting a work-to-rule which could double the time it takes for adults to get clearance to work with children.
Up to 450 members of the Public and Commercial Services Union are taking the action in protest at a 0.5% pay rise offered by the Government.
The union will urge members to refuse overtime and not to exceed targets for processing criminal record checks.
