Rhys accused's DNA 'on bike'
A bicycle used by an alleged gunman to flee the scene where Rhys Jones was shot dead had the DNA of a man accused of his murder on it, a court has heard.
The mountain bike, which was found dumped six months after the killing, was linked directly to Sean Mercer, 18, prosecutor Neil Flewitt QC said.
Rhys, 11, was gunned down in a pub car park in Liverpool in 2007. At Liverpool Crown Court Mercer denies murder.
