New driving laws announced
The Government has unveiled measures to crack down on speeding motorists and drink and drug-drivers.
Plans include a possible new drug-driving offence making it illegal to drive after taking a drug "which is both illegal and impairing".
There could also be a higher tariff of six points on a licence for drivers who exceed the speed limit by a large margin, such as more than 20mph.
