BNP calls in police over leak

The far-right British National Party has asked police to investigate after its entire party membership list was published on the internet.

The party said that the list with the names and contact details of some 10,000 individuals, in some cases jobs and hobbies, was "essentially genuine".

The list was reported to include serving and former police officers as well as members of the armed forces.
