N Ireland deal hailed

The British and Irish governments have hailed the deal to secure N Ireland's power-sharing, saying it may be the final step towards the peace process.

The DUP and Sinn Fein have brokered a deal on devolving policing and justice powers from Westminster, ending a five-month stand-off.

The parties have agreed to moves that within a period of months will see the creation of a department of justice.
