McCanns outraged over files

Madeleine McCann's parents have accused Portuguese police of withholding crucial evidence after files revealed a series of previously secret leads.

Documents show officers collected CCTV images, compiled e-fits and recorded sightings that were never made public or passed to Kate and Gerry McCann.

Spokesman Clarence Mitchell said it was "tragic" that this kind of information should only be released now.

No sympathy for train robber
DR (2/7) misses the point. The sentences given to the Great Train Robbers reflected the seriousness with which society then viewed the crime and the comparison with sentences today is irrelevant. This was, after all, robbery with violence.
