Kennedy rushed to hospital
Senator Edward Kennedy has been taken to hospital in the United States after suffering a seizure at his home.
The Massachusetts Democrat did not appear to have suffered a stroke as initially suspected, according to his official spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter.
Mr Kennedy is undergoing tests to determine the cause of the seizure and is expected to remain at Massachusetts General Hospital for at least two days.
