Victor hails political quake
The triumphant SNP candidate has said Labour's defeat in the Glasgow East by-election would have a "huge impact felt all the way to Downing Street".
In his victory speech, John Mason said: "This SNP victory is not just a political earthquake, it is off the Richter scale. It is an epic win."
The 22% swing made it the biggest upset in Labour's Scottish heartlands since the loss of Glasgow Govan in 1988.
