Appeal to aid Burma victims
The public are being urged to donate to an appeal fund to help save the lives of millions of people displaced by the devastating cyclone in Burma.
The Disaster Emergency Committee has raised more than £5m for those affected by Cyclone Nargis, but more is needed to stave off a humanitarian crisis.
The country's contaminated water supply is greatly increasing the risk of dysentery, diarrhoea and cholera.
