UK demands crew's release

The Government has appealed for the release of the hijacked crew of an oil tanker - including two Britons - as the vessel anchored off Somalia.

One of the British crew members on board the Saudi-owned Sirius Star is the tanker's chief engineer. The other is the Second Officer.

Pirates have since seized an Iranian cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden that was flying a Hong Kong flag.

The world feeds the poor, the poor become reliant upon such aid, why grow your own when people send you food? What people need is help and basic, reliable technology. Teach people to help themselves.
