JobCentre closures 'reviewed'
The Government has faced calls to halt its JobCentre closure programme after a minister said he is reviewing it in the light of the economic crisis.
Employment minister Tony McNulty said it was a "no-brainer" to look again at scaling back JobCentre Plus offices at a time of rising unemployment.
Unemployment figures for September showed that 1.82 million are out of work - the highest since 1997.
