Turner Prize result due

The winner of this year's Turner Prize is being announced - with three of the four artists on shortlist being women.

Only three women have ever won the prize since its first year in 1984. The annual show is being staged at London's Tate Britain.

The prize has traditionally been won by bizarre and controversial work. Previous recipients include Gilbert and George, Damien Hirst and Grayson Perry.
