A 51-year-old man has been arrested at an address in the Swindon area under the Terrorism Act 2000.

The man is being held in custody at a London police station on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

It came after police were granted eight more days to question three men suspected of raising funds for the Sri Lankan terror group, the Tamil Tigers.
