Hague attacks PM boast
William Hague has attacked Gordon Brown for his "foolish" claim to have ended boom and bust after unemployment rose to its worst level since 1999.
Standing in at PM's questions, the shadow foreign secretary said the lengthening dole queue marked a "grim day" for the British economy.
Commons Leader Harriet Harman said she is "very much concerned" but warned the Tories not to "write off our economy".
