Artist Jack Vettriano reportedly refused a commission to paint the Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie because of the sportsman's looks.

The Fife painter, 56, said he was approached to produce the work for the National Galleries of Scotland.

But he declined, saying: "I don't do men with breasts." Vettriano regularly complains his paintings are not appreciated by the art establishment.
