Shoplifter requests Asbo
A 20-year-old shoplifter became the first person in the country to request an Asbo for herself.
Tania Hall was given a two-year order by magistrates in Birmingham, banning her from certain roads in the Erdington area, after 12 offences in seven years.
Inspector Nicholas Rowe said: "Ms Hall wanted to curb her own offending behaviour. We hope the order will help her to steer clear of crime."
