Iran tests new missile
Iran says it has successfully test-fired a new generation of missile that could strike Israel and some parts of Europe with greater precision.
The Sajjil is a solid fuel high-speed missile with a range of about 1,200 miles, defence minister Mostafa Mohammed Najjar said on state TV.
He did not say if it was capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. The US used spy satellites to observe the test.
