Hunt for escaped killer
Police are continuing to hunt for a convicted killer who has gone on the run from an open prison in Scotland.
Police said that John Bowden, 51, was being tested in "open conditions" when he absconded from HMP Noranside. He was last seen in the town of Forfar.
Bowden, who is originally from south London, was given a life sentence in 1982 at the Old Bailey after being convicted of murdering a park-keeper.
