McCain speech 'lacklustre'
Republican White House hopeful John McCain's call for Americans to stand up and fight for change was met with little enthusiasm by US pundits.
Mr McCain, who declared "change is coming", set out to appeal to swing voters and independents but delivered a "lacklustre finish to a convention".
The Arizona senator, 72, gave little more than a stump-speech and delegates "sat stock-still", pundits said.
