F1: Alonso: Duo fear mistakes
Double world champion Fernando Alonso feels Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa are more worried about making mistakes than winning the world title.
The title contenders clashed on lap two of Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix, the latest in a series of errors made by both men this season.
Alonso told autosport.com: "You can spend too much effort thinking anything can go wrong."
Whitmarsh: Team cautious
Martin Whitmarsh maintains McLaren are taking a "cautious" approach to ensure there are no more mistakes with this season's world titles on the line.
McLaren head into Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai licking their wounds after Lewis Hamilton's 12th-place finish in Japan.
Chief executive Whitmarsh said: "Everybody within the team is being very diligent and cautious."
