SPEEDWAY: Panthers hot favourites
Peterborough are hot favourites to avoid relegation after holding Wolverhampton to a 48-47 deficit at Monmore Green on Tuesday.
Panthers were a staggering 16 points behind after just six races but hit back in style with two maximums in the last two heats.
Boss Trevor Swales said: "We kept our cool and now fancy our chances on Thursday in the home leg."
Stoke offer bumper night
Stoke are offering fans a bumper night of racing when they stage the showpiece Conference League Fours on Saturday.
All eight clubs will be represented in a programme which features 24 races at the Loomer Road venue.
Potters promoter Dave Tattum said: "We're really looking forward to staging this event, it's an honour for us and I'm sure it will be a great night of entertainment for the fans."
