States take control
The United States won the afternoon fourballs 2-1 to take a 7½-4½ lead into the final day of the Curtis Cup.
Sally Watson and Krystle Caithness won to give GB&I hope but points for Kimberly Kim and Mina Harigae, and Alison Walshe and Stacy Lewis put the Americans in command.
The hosts must now turn around the three-point deficit in eight singles matches to stave off defeat.
