Manager won't blame injuries
Boro manager Gareth Southgate is refusing to blame injuries for his side's mixed start to the season.
The injury-stricken Teessiders bounced back from a 1-0 defeat at home to West Brom last weekend with a 1-0 victory at Wigan on Saturday.
Southgate conceded: "Injuries happen, that's part and parcel of football. We are no different to other clubs. It's cyclical, you have to deal with it."
