Torres dreams of accolade
Fernando Torres says winning the Ballon d'Or would be like "climbing to the top of Everest and touching the sky".
The Spain striker, who has "started a second life" at Anfield, is in contention for the European award after netting 33 times last season.
He told the club website: "On TV I saw the likes of Zidane, Ronaldinho and Kaka, players from another galaxy. Now I'm a candidate, I can't believe it."
