Motherwell 1 Rangers 1

Rangers handed the title initiative to Old Firm rivals Celtic as Chris Porter rescued a point for Motherwell.

Gers' first-half pressure paid off when Christian Dailly nodded in a long ball (29), although Neil Alexander tipped Brian McLean's drive over to deny Well.

Porter levelled from close in (50) and, despite both sides having chances, the draw leaves Gers three points behind Celtic with only one game in hand.
