Michael OwenMichael Owen is determined to prove his critics wrong after completing his shock move to Manchester United.
Doubts have been expressed about the wisdom of manager Sir Alex Ferguson signing the injury-plagued striker.
Owen said: "I'm not silly, I know there will be some people saying maybe the manager shouldn't have signed me. As soon as the first game kicks off, I can do my talking on the pitch."
