Chelsea duo ruled out
Chelsea duo Ashley Cole and John Terry will miss England's World Cup qualifier against Belarus through injury.
England captain Terry has not recovered from the back problem which forced him to miss Saturday's win over Kazakhstan, while Cole has a sore hamstring.
Rio Ferdinand stood in for Terry in a match which turned ugly for Cole, who was booed by some of the crowd for a mistake which led to Kazakhstan's goal.
Lampard: Becks has role
Frank Lampard believes David Beckham can still have a major role for England despite his brief showing on Saturday.
Beckham, who equalled Bobby Charlton's tally of 106 caps against Kazakhstan, came on in the last 10 minutes and had time to set up a goal for Wayne Rooney.
Lampard said: "To have David in the squad, whether he is starting games or not, is brilliant - the attitude he is showing when he comes on is fantastic."
Heskey: No goals worry
Emile Heskey approaches his 50th England cap insisting a lack of goals is not weighing on his mind.
Heskey, set to reach the half-century mark against Belarus on Wednesday, has just five international goals but the striker's team-mates and Fabio Capello have hailed his overall contribution.
Heskey said: "Not scoring goals does not play on my mind. I'm going to carry on and hopefully that will come."
