FA denounce 'crazy' boos
The Football Association have condemned as "crazy" the small minority of England fans who booed Ashley Cole at Wembley during the win over Kazakhstan.
Cole made the mistake which saw Kazakhstan score a surprise second-half goal during the 5-1 victory.
An FA spokesman said: "It is crazy that a section of our own supporters are booing one of our own players. That is clearly not going to help the team."
Fans chief defends boos
Football Supporters' Federation international co-ordinator Kevin Miles admits the England fans who booed Ashley Cole had a right to do so.
The left-back was jeered for his mistake which led to Kazakhstan's goal in England's 5-1 win at Wembley.
Miles said: "People have every right to express their opinion but they should want to do what they can to try and improve the situation."
