Dortmund reject Hull bid
Hull have had an initial bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Delron Buckley rejected by the German club.
The 30-year-old South Africa international, whose career looks to have stalled, impressed while on trial with the Premier League newcomers.
But Dortmund's director of sport Michael Zorc was unimpressed by Hull's valuation of the winger and said: "It is not really what we were expecting."
Bridges in Cumbria return
Hull striker Michael Bridges has returned to former club Carlisle on an initial season-long loan.
The Cumbrians will then have first option to sign the former Sunderland and Leeds man, 29, who scored 12 goals in 23 league games during his previous spell at Brunton Park.
Carlisle managing director John Nixon told the club website: "His arrival is a big step forward for us."
