Milan in Adebayor claim

AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani claims Arsenal have written to him to say they are willing to discuss selling Emmanuel Adebayor.

Speaking to Italian television on Tuesday evening, Galliani said he had received a letter saying they had changed their position on the forward.

Galliani told Antenna 3: "If Adebayor decides to leave Arsenal, then we are certainly interested."

Hleb rejects rift talk

Alexander Hleb played down reports of a rift with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and team-mate Cesc Fabregas but still looks set to leave the club.

The Belarus star has been consistently linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium since the end of the season.

He told www.tut.by: "I am very grateful to Arsene Wenger. He is the best coach of my career, and Cesc is a very pleasant guy in life and as a player."

Ajax deny Klaas contact

Ajax insist they have heard nothing from Arsenal concerning a possible bid for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Dutch striker has been linked with both the Gunners and Manchester United over the past week after scoring 33 goals for his club last season.

But Ajax's acting managing director Henri van der Aat said: "We really don't want him to leave. There has been no contact from Arsenal."
