Chelsea snap up Paim
Chelsea have signed Portuguese winger Fabio Paim on a season-long loan from Sporting Lisbon, according to the SuperLiga outfit.
New Blues manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has signed the 20-year-old Portugal U21 international with a view to securing a permanent deal at the end of the season, Sporting said on their website.
The winger spent last season at Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira.
Milan: No Sheva deal
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed talks to bring Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko back to the San Siro are "frozen".
Galliani claimed on Thursday that a proposed loan deal had fallen through.

Madrid insist they have no intention of selling Robinho, but Ribeiro claimed the Spanish champions would accept a £31.6m offer for the Chelsea target.
He told Onda Madrid: "Until August 31, anything is possible. Until the transfer market closes, we do not give this matter up as closed."
