Fergie hopeful on Rooney
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Wayne Rooney will be fit for the Champions League final even if he misses Manchester United's title crunch at Wigan.
Rooney has missed two games, including the victory over Barcelona, after suffering a recurrence of a hip injury in the defeat at Chelsea last month.
Ferguson said: "Maybe I will have him as a substitute on Sunday. But he will be fit for the Champions League final."
Fergie backs Bolton duo
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has placed his trust in long- time assistant Archie Knox to ensure Bolton are fully prepared for Chelsea.
Ferguson has been shocked at rumours suggesting Bolton are taking the Stamford Bridge clash lightly and insists Knox and boss Gary Megson will have the Trotters well drilled.
Ferguson said: "They will not enjoy having their players out celebrating."
Grant proud of players
Chelsea boss Avram Grant believes his side have been playing the best football during the title run-in.
The Israeli is adamant this proves the Blues can handle the pressure of big games and only goal difference is keeping his side in second place.
He said: "There is no doubt about this, in the last month we have played very good games. Whatever happens on Sunday I'll be proud of what we have done."
