Irvine remaining calm
Alan Irvine is refusing to get carried away despite his side's encouraging start to the new season.
North End have taken maximum points from their opening two Championship games and have advanced to round two of the Carling Cup.
He said: "I thought the fixtures would be tough and they have been. It's been a fantastic start, although there's an awful long way to go."
