EU to probe BA link-up
The proposed link-up between British Airways and giant US carrier American Airlines (AA) is to be investigated by the European Commission.
BA said earlier this month that it has signed a business agreement with AA to co-operate on transatlantic flights.
BA has twice failed to get BA-AA link-ups approved and the plans have been bitterly opposed by Sir Richard Branson's airline Virgin Atlantic.
